On 9th March our civil engineering designer David Negus introduced John Goldsmith (Aurum Ecology) and your friendly blogmaster, Stewart Green, to the proposed site of our Wenhaston Station Heritage Centre. John will be doing a wildlife impact report for our planning application later this year and the site looked really impressive in the weak March sunshine. The photo shows part of the original raised trackbed just at the point where our re-instated line would re-join the original alignment, with John and David negotiating one of the many drainage ditches.
