Engine Shed Doors – 8th August 2020

 

Here is the first of the four eleven foot high Engine Shed doors being fitted to the Engine Shed extension recently completed at Steamworks in Blyth Road, Southwold. Once they are all in we can remove the doors you can see inside to create one 60 foot long space. Or 18 metres if you prefer.

We cannot open this summer, or give rides, but we are doing half-hour on-site visits, by appointment, for up to six people so that we can explain what is going on and show some of the progress that is being made. Socially distanced of course. Quite a lot has been achieved since last year. If you would like to do that please call the Station on 01502 725422 and we will arrange it..
