The golden Sharpie catches the sun beautifully. And it works.

This is the southern side of Southwold Station showing the platform canopy, visible now the scaffolding has been removed so the platform can be built. Somewhere in that darkness the chaps are building it. I know Southwold Station did not have a zig zag valance but this is not a replica and it does create more of a Victorian flavour.
