On Saturday May 2nd (10.30 till 17.00) and Sunday May 3rd (10.30 till 16.00), the Southwold Railway Trust will be holding its third Southwold Show.
The venue is St Edmund’s Hall, Cumberland Road, Southwold IP18 6JP. Parking in Southwold is sometimes a little difficult, so either come early, or use one of our frequent local buses, which run hourly from Lowesoft on both days: buses from Norwich, Beccles, Bungay and Halesworth (connections to the trains from Ipswich and London) also run hourly on Saturday.
Model railways in various scales, some of the Southwold and some of related railways, are complimented by displays of Trust work at Wenhaston and at our Southwold Rolling Stock Workshop, and promotional stands from our local Heritage Railway friends. Tours of the SRT Rolling Stock Group Workshop, which is only about five minutes’ walk away,
are included.
Refreshments and light lunches are available.
Admission: Adults £3.00, children under 15 £1.50. Under 3s free.
Come and support this exciting railway restoration project – maybe join us – and see how we are doing with trackbed works and rolling stock for the new railway.
