Planning application extension

Suffolk Coastal District Council have deferred the planning decision date once again – the latest date is October 10th. Glad they’re doing the job thoroughly! Let’s hope for a positive outcome for us. Their website doesn’t make it easy to register comments, so the best way is still an email to d.c.admin@suffolkcoastal.gov.uk quoting application number 12/0689 (Southwold Railway Heritage Centre)

Some more good news is that the Board of Trustees has now decided in principle to proceed with the land purchase, subject to various legal matters being dealt with to our satisfaction. By the time Gift Aid has been claimed back we are fast approaching our target, so heartiest thanks to all who donated. New potential donors can give online!
